We are presently seeking a Program Manager, NIR Spectrometer Products that will be responsible for program management and cross-functional team leadership for the development and transfer to production of our near-infrared (NIR) laser-based spectrometers.


Your responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional team to define, coordinate and oversee the execution of New Product Introduction plans for the company's NIR product line;
  • Manage resource allocation and delegation, arbitration on resource and schedule conflicts, and execution of a coherent and coordinated cross-functional product life-cycle process;
  • Ensure that critical supplier and customer/development partnerships are established via coordination with internal engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain management personnel.

Your requirements:

  • Project management for technology development and new product introduction in high tech/high reliability industry;
  • Experience in systems engineering in electro-mechanical/electro-optic systems with embedded software
  • Project management experience in matrix environment;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Desired Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

  • Experience in risk management methodologies;
  • Working knowledge of solid-state laser principles and/or optics.

Qualifications:

  • MS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or related field;
  • 10+ years relevant industry experience.
